Soon after our crane company was established as United Rental Equipment Company in 1968, we quickly expanded into neighboring Northeastern states and added new equipment like large crawler cranes to our line of products.The 1990s saw further change and expansion for our company after it was sold to new owners. Our new owners embarked upon a growth strategy that dramatically increased the size and scope of our crane rental company. Our fleet grew to about 100 cranes and we opened new locations throughout our service area.At the turn of the millennium, we changed our name to United Crane and Rigging Company to more accurately reflect our company’s focus and mission. In the past 15 years, we have added new products to our line-up, including tower cranes and hoists. Our crane company has also become a Kobelco Crawler Cranes dealer.Our crane rental company is active in the crane and rigging industry and is affiliated with several industry professional groups. We are committed to safety and use the latest technology, including computer aided lift planning programs to craft safe and efficient lifting solutions for our clients.The years have seen many changes in our crane company, but our core mission has remained the same: providing quality lifting products and expert advice to our clients.
